Family Dog Training -Applied Basics
(Canine Good Citizen)
For dogs that have mastered the basics and are
looking to apply them to real life situations. The components of
the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program are taught and
participants get to take the CGC test*! Open to dogs that have a
solid foundation in walking politely on leash, good greeting
behaviors with dogs and people, coming when called and staying
when asked.

CGC TEST
*The CGC Test is offered free to students who sign up for the session. The test can be taken by anyone at a fee of $15.00/dog, please call to pre-register. Bring a grooming tool of your choice to the test and proof of rabies vaccination. People interested in dropping in to practice for the CGC Test may do so for $25.00 per class.
